Field Worker – Community Mobilization Job at MRC Uganda

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Social Administration (SWSA), Mass Media, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical research setting, preferably in social and behavioral science research.

  • Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams involving clinical and epidemiological researchers.

  • Previous experience in participant mobilization for research studies.

  • Experience working with the general population cohort in Kyamulibwa is an advantage.

  • Fluent in both English and Luganda.

  • Valid motorcycle riding skills required.

  • Basic knowledge of data collection, management, and reporting.

  • Proficient in computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Access, and SSP software.

  • Self-motivated, with excellent social, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under minimal supervision.

  • Capable of maintaining productivity under pressure and adapting to changing conditions.

  • Demonstrates integrity, reliability, non-judgmental attitude, and results-orientation.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, eagerness to learn, forward-thinking, and open-minded.
