About the Role
Chap Chap Uganda is looking for energetic and self-driven Field Sales Representatives to join our Route Sales team. In this role, you will actively engage with mobile money agents, expand our market presence, and promote the adoption of ChapChap products within your assigned territories. Your success will be measured by meeting sales targets, nurturing strong client relationships, and enhancing ChapChap’s visibility in the market. This role is key to advancing our mission of delivering accessible financial solutions and growing our active agent network.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct route sales activities to onboard, train, and activate new mobile money agents.
Promote ChapChap’s products and services to increase usage and customer retention.
Execute brand visibility and merchandising activities along designated routes.
Gather market feedback and monitor competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
Submit timely daily, weekly, and monthly sales and activity reports.
Collaborate closely with the sales team and management to consistently achieve sales targets.
Maintain a professional and positive representation of ChapChap during all client interactions.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Proven experience in field sales, route sales, or agent recruitment, preferably in fintech, telecom, or FMCG sectors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a sales route.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach.
Basic skills in reporting and record-keeping.
Minimum education: UACE; additional qualifications in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields are a plus.
