Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Directly manage LTC field staff (Buyers, Field Officers, Senior Field Officers, and Inspectors) including schedules, work assignments, and follow-ups
- Supervise and monitor procurement activities for fresh cocoa
- Train farmers and trainers on agronomy and organic farming practices
- Manage buyer performance and fresh cocoa quality standards
- Plan and manage collection days including pricing, harvest estimates, transport, and weight management
- Manage certification activities for farmers including contracting, surveys, trainings, inspections, and annual audit support
- Implement Latitude partner programmes — agroforestry, financial literacy, digital payments
- Regularly visit LTC farmers, communities, and collection areas
- Propose and support community development initiatives
- Host customers, investors, donors, and development partners as needed
