Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and orderly conduct of students during school bus journeys
- Assist students boarding and alighting from the bus, particularly younger children
- Maintain a register of students on each bus route and report any absences or irregularities
- Communicate with parents, guardians, and school administration regarding transport concerns
- Ensure students follow bus rules and report any misconduct to school administration
- Assist in keeping the school bus clean and orderly
- Support the bus driver in emergency situations and follow established safety protocols
