Job Title: Farm Field Supervisor

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Supervise and support machine operators to ensure proper input use and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of farm machinery, including fault reporting and repair follow-ups.
Ensure cleanliness and functionality of machinery through regular inspections and jet-washing routines.
Maintain detailed records of machine use, service intervals, and breakdowns.
Ensure mechanics and operators generate thorough defect lists, report faults as quickly as possible as soon as they are identified,

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on large-scale farms (1,500+ ha).
At least 2 years in a supervisory or related mechanical/agronomic role.
Proficiency in English and Kiswahili is required
Work Environment
Shift work with flexibility for evenings and weekends.
Physically demanding tasks, including operating near machinery and in varying noise levels.
