About the Role:
Ambrosoli International School is looking for a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to join our Operations Team. How to Apply
Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of school facilities, including classrooms, offices, playgrounds, and outdoor areas.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding standards, with a strong focus on child protection.
Manage both preventative and reactive maintenance of infrastructure and systems (electrical, plumbing, fire safety, security, etc.).
Supervise and coordinate the work of internal staff and external contractors in cleaning, security, and groundskeeping.
Plan and manage refurbishment, renovation, and infrastructure improvement projects.
Monitor, track, and control facilities budgets effectively and cost-efficiently.
Lead initiatives in sustainability and environmental responsibility, aligned with the school’s ethos.
Collaborate with the school leadership team to ensure that facilities meet the operational and educational needs of the school.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in facilities or operations management, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, with knowledge of safeguarding practices being an added advantage.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, contractors, and the broader school community.
A proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for children.
Desirable Qualifications:
Relevant professional qualifications in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Procurement & Logistics, or a related discipline.
