Uganda National Examinations Board is a national assessment body in Uganda, established in 1983 by an act of Parliament. The UNEB Secretariat is headed by the Executive Secretary, who is the Chief Executive head and the accounting officer of the board.
The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is a body corporate established under Cap.137 Laws of Uganda. Its Vision is “A Recognized Centre of Globally Competitive Educational Assessment and Certification” and its mission is “Conduct Valid, Reliable, Equitable and Quality Assessment of Learners’ Achievement in a Professional and Innovative Manner and Award Internationally Recognized Certificates.”

Develop History test instruments for various educational levels.
Research and align test content with historical curriculum standards.
Ensure test fairness and accuracy in assessment.
Analyze test outcomes and recommend improvements.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in History or related field.
Experience in educational assessment or curriculum development.
Strong research and analytical skills.
