Job Description
The Instructor in Electrical Installation, based at the Masulita Vocational School, will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical training in electrical installation to students. This includes preparing lesson plans, conducting hands-on training sessions, assessing student performance, and ensuring adherence to safety standards in all electrical work.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Deliver both theoretical and practical instruction in electrical installation to students
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and practical demonstrations aligned with the curriculum
- Guide students in hands-on electrical work, ensuring proper use of tools and equipment
- Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and practical assessments
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards in all training activities
- Mentor and support students in developing technical and employability skills
- Maintain and manage electrical tools, equipment, and training workshops
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance
- Stay updated with current electrical installation practices and integrate them into training
- Work closely with school management to ensure high-quality training and positive learning
- Lead the process of learner assessment and certification in accordance with TVET requirements
