Job Description

Watoto is seeking dedicated and dynamic Secondary School Teachers committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering the holistic development of learners. Teachers are needed for subjects including English Language and Literature, History, Christian Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and conduct lessons according to the Watoto schools’ standards.
  • Administer assessments and structured assignments to support learning.
  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Monitor and evaluate learner progress to build a positive learning culture.
  • Offer mentorship and facilitate leadership sessions for small groups.
  • Implement and evaluate the learning experience through real-life project experiences.
  • Observe learner growth and provide immediate academic support.
  • Advise learners academically and socially to support career decisions.
  • Maintain proper stewardship of all assigned school equipment.
  • Promote learners’ well-being, safety, and holistic development.
