Job Description
EMSult Engineers Limited is seeking competent and motivated Electrical Engineers to join its technical team. The successful candidates will be responsible for electrical engineering design and on-site construction supervision, ensuring that electrical systems are designed, installed, and commissioned in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical engineering designs, layouts, load calculations, and technical specifications for building and infrastructure projects.
- Develop electrical drawings and documentation, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and low-voltage systems.
- Supervise electrical installation works on construction sites to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and verification of electrical systems.
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material specifications.
- Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety requirements on site.
- Identify and resolve technical issues arising during design and construction.
- Prepare progress reports, technical reports, and as-built documentation.
- Provide technical support to clients, contractors, and project teams.
- Perform any other duties related to electrical engineering as assigned.
