Job Description
The Drill Team Quality Representative III will provide expert QA/QC support for drilling and completion activities. This senior role entails overseeing service and equipment quality from third-party contractors, maintaining the quality event database, and mentoring other team members. The candidate will also ensure compliance with industry standards like API, ISO, and ASNT. They must possess deep operational knowledge of drilling, completions, and rig systems, and work collaboratively across various teams to uphold quality and safety requirements.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and oversee implementation of the Drill Team Quality Plan.
Monitor QA/QC practices throughout drilling and completion phases.
Ensure compliance with API, ISO, and other industry standards.
Review quality of equipment and services from service companies and rig contractors.
Maintain integrity of the quality event database.
Mentor and train junior quality team members and drill team engineers.
Provide expert guidance in oilfield quality assurance and control practices.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure consistent quality delivery.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Engineering or Engineering Technology from a recognized institution.
Completion of ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Course.
Experience:
At least 25 years’ experience in oilfield-related work.
Solid background in Drilling and Completions Engineering or Operations.
Hands-on experience with rig equipment and related operations.
Key Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of QA/QC standards (e.g., API Q1/Q2, ISO 9001, ASNT, NACE).
Familiarity with T.H. Hill DS-1 drill string inspections.
Excellent leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to influence without authority.
Proficiency in business writing and computer applications.
