Vacancy Title: Distribution Administration Manager
Hiring Organization: Wave
Location:Kampala, Uganda (with occasional field travel)
As Distribution Administration Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Distribution and Agent Operations Teams. Your work will empower these teams to scale, operate efficiently, and make data-driven decisions. You’ll lead on administrative coordination, budget monitoring, performance reporting, and operational support.
This is a permanent position based in Kampala, Uganda. Local work authorization is required.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Performance Reporting
Extract and analyze performance data using Periscope; build clear and insightful dashboards.
Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports across agent operations and distribution teams.
Identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement; recommend operational enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize performance metrics and promote a data-driven culture.
Work with engineers to improve data reporting processes and systems.
Administrative Support
Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for field operations and distribution teams.
Coordinate team meetings, organize trainings, and ensure distributors comply with recruitment and management protocols.
Maintain up-to-date distributor contracts and ensure timely payroll processing and payments.
Monitor budget utilization and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
Track and manage agent and distribution supplies and logistics.
Activate/deactivate agents and distributors and verify attendance records.
Manage access to tools (Slack, field apps, WhatsApp groups) and troubleshoot access issues.
Prepare bonus payment files based on distributor performance.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
At least 5 years (60 months) of relevant experience, preferably supporting field sales or agent networks in an administrative role.
Experience managing payroll for 20+ individuals and strong knowledge of Uganda’s labor laws.
Proficiency in data analysis, spreadsheets, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Google Sheets).
