Position Summary:
The Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda is seeking two (2) Office Assistants – Welfare to manage daily kitchen operations and ensure the timely provision of quality and affordable refreshments and meals to staff and visitors. This role is essential for maintaining a smooth and professional working environment.

How to Apply
Manage and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring utensils are clean and well-organized.
Prepare and serve refreshments to staff, visitors, and during official meetings and workshops within set timeframes.
Source, restock, and manage inventory of food items, drinks, and kitchen supplies.
Recommend improvements to enhance kitchen service delivery.
Uphold high standards of hygiene and organization in all food preparation and service areas.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Timely and efficient cafeteria services provided to staff, visitors, and Board members
Clean, well-maintained kitchen and dining areas
No complaints related to the quality or timeliness of catering services
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Certificate in Hotel Management, Catering, Home Economics, or a related field.
Required Competencies:
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong personal hygiene and cleanliness standards
Time management and organizational skills
High level of integrity, reliability, and honesty
Strong customer service and communication skills
