Dispenser

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Dispense drugs to clients.

• Conduct counselling of clients.

• Ensure proper recording of drugs.

• Monitor drug stock and inform the supervisor.

• Participate in the drug stocktaking.

• Conduct daily commodity reconciliation.

• Conduct bimonthly commodity ordering and reporting and submit the orders and reports to pharmacy technician for review and approval.

• Participate in CME and any other trainings organized by IRC.

• Provide health education on medicine use.

• Ensure health, safety, and security in your area of operation.

• Promote the vision, mission and the values of IRC as expressed in the policies, regulations & guidelines of the Organization.

• Any other duty assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certificate in pharmaceuticals.

• Registered with Uganda Allied Health Professionals.

• Experience of at least one year dispensing medicines in a health facility.

• Good knowledge of Logistics Management Information System (LMIS) tools.
