Job Description
The Digital Marketing Manager will take ownership of all marketing responsibilities across the Western Seaboard Franchise. This includes planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies, content creation, PPC campaigns, social media engagement, and website management. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, creativity, and proficiency in digital tools and social platforms. Additionally, the incumbent will provide weekly social media training to real estate agents and ensure content consistency and brand alignment across platforms.
The position offers a monthly salary of R30,000, with a 40% contribution toward personal medical aid or the option to join a medical aid scheme during employment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
Plan and implement digital marketing strategies and campaigns
Analyze and report on campaign performance and KPIs
Manage PPC campaigns and search platform accounts
Optimize website content using WordPress and internal systems
Stay updated with current digital and social media trends
Monitor and update Google pages
Social Media Management
Develop and execute both organic and paid social media campaigns
Identify trends and optimize spend and performance accordingly
Manage social presence across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn
Respond to user engagement and monitor customer reviews
Provide weekly training sessions to agents on social media optimization
Design & Content Creation
Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative marketing collateral
Design and amend marketing templates
Create engaging and SEO-optimized content tailored to platform requirements
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma in Marketing
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
Agency experience is advantageous
Experience in a tech startup is a plus
Proven success in omni-channel marketing with a strong digital focus
Skills and Competencies:
Deep understanding of digital and social media principles
Excellent communication and copywriting skills
Creativity, strategic thinking, and attention to detail
Experience with Facebook, Google, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube
Strong interest in property marketing and community engagement
Ability to manage budgets and deliver results under pressure
