Job Description
Interns will be introduced to clearance processes, import/export documentation, valuation systems, and risk profiling. They will work closely with customs officers to ensure smooth operations at ports of entry.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist with cargo inspections
Verify customs declarations
Support documentation and valuation checks
Learn clearance systems
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Assist with reviewing taxpayer records and documentation.
Support tax assessment, compliance, and enforcement activities.
Help update taxpayer databases and conduct field assignments.
Contribute to tax education and sensitization initiatives.
Participate in daily operations and reporting activities of the department.
