Job Description
The Management Trainee – Company Secretary Department role is designed for recent law graduates seeking to build a career in corporate governance and company secretarial practice within the banking sector.
The successful candidate will support the Company Secretary’s Office in ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, facilitating board activities, and maintaining high standards of corporate governance.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating Board and Committee meetings, including preparation of agendas and board packs.
- Support in drafting minutes, resolutions, and corporate governance documentation.
- Maintain statutory registers and corporate records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and track regulatory filings and compliance deadlines.
- Assist in reviewing legal and governance documents.
- Support communication between the Board, Management, and relevant stakeholders.
- Provide administrative and research support to the Company Secretary’s Office.
