Job Description
Customer Service Assistant
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Reporting To: Assistant Customer Experience Manager
Location: Head Office, Kampala

About the Role
SPOUTS of Water LTD is looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Customer Service Assistant to support customer relations and ensure high levels of satisfaction among our clients and beneficiaries. The role plays a key part in helping us achieve our mission of providing sustainable access to clean water solutions.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Task | Contribution to Role Performance |
Conduct customer data cleanup and updates | 5% |
Promote product knowledge and proper usage based on company goals | 5% |
Manage inbound and outbound calls to support customer satisfaction | 60% |
Track and follow up on customer payments to ensure clearance | 5% |
Monitor replacement of broken pots to maintain product usage | 15% |
Prepare timely reports on commercial performance | 5% |
Perform additional duties as assigned by the department | 5% |
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar customer service position
Skills: Proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Language Requirements
Required: Fluent in spoken and written English
Preferred: Alur, Madi, Lugbara, Kakwa, Aringa
Additional Advantage: Knowledge of Luganda
Special Conditions
This role requires regular travel between the Head Office and field locations.
