To support our expanding operations, we are seeking qualified, self-driven, and results-oriented professionals to join our team in the following position:
Position Title: Credit Officer
Reporting to: Branch Manager
Duty Station: Branch Level
Role Summary
The Credit Officer will be responsible for closely monitoring borrowers, ensuring the smooth execution of lending operations, and supporting the sustainable growth of the branch loan portfolio.

How to Apply
Promote and sensitize clients about loan products and cross-sell other bank services in line with bank policies.
Assess applicants’ financial status, creditworthiness, and collateral value to determine loan viability.
Prepare and submit loan files to the loan committee, ensuring full documentation in compliance with the Credit Policy.
Mobilize and onboard both new and existing clients for loan products in accordance with the Bank’s lending procedures.
Process and disburse approved loans, ensuring alignment with set targets and policy standards.
Safeguard and hand over client security/collateral for proper custody as per the Bank’s credit procedures.
Ensure daily loan recovery efforts to maintain portfolio quality and reduce Portfolio at Risk (PAR).
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. (Specialization in Marketing, Commerce, Humanities, or Microfinance is an added advantage.)
Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
Proficient in computer applications.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and minimal supervision.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and high levels of integrity.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
Willingness to spend at least 70% of the time in the field.
