Job Description
The Credit Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all credit operations comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. The role involves monitoring compliance standards, supporting risk management processes, and promoting adherence to AML/CFT regulations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Review credit files and transactions to ensure adherence to internal controls
- Support implementation of AML/CFT policies and compliance frameworks
- Conduct compliance checks and risk assessments within credit operations
- Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies
- Liaise with internal departments to promote regulatory awareness and best practices
- Support audits and regulatory inspections
- Maintain proper documentation and records in line with compliance standards
