Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with local communities and stakeholders
- Implement stakeholder engagement strategy with clear communication channels
- Facilitate local employment opportunities within the Protected Area
- Lead implementation of community conservation strategic plan
- Lead human-wildlife conflict mitigation measures
- Lead consultations with communities relating to PA management activities
- Implement initiatives to incentivize and engage communities in conservation
- Manage and mentor community conservation team
- Contribute to annual and donor reports and fundraising efforts
