Job Overview
Sinapis is hiring a detail-oriented, people-focused Community Administrator to manage front-facing operations, sales, and member engagement at our entrepreneurship hub in Kampala. This role also involves handling basic finance and administrative tasks for our Uganda team. Ideal for someone who thrives on hospitality, enjoys event coordination, and excels in administration and sales within a mission-driven, fast-paced environment.
As the primary point of contact at our coworking and collaborative hub—which also serves as our internal office—you’ll lead daily operations, nurture client relationships, manage facility upkeep, and support coworking sales and event logistics. This is a relational role suited for someone who builds community naturally, pays close attention to detail, and carries a warm, professional presence.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Front Desk & Client Support
Serve as the welcoming face of the Sinapis hub, handling receptionist duties with excellence and hospitality
Lead sales for coworking memberships and rentals by generating leads, giving tours, and meeting sales targets
Support event execution and rentals through logistics coordination and on-site assistance
Facility & Operations
Oversee office stewards to ensure high standards in facility upkeep and maintenance
Provide basic IT troubleshooting and technical support, especially during events
Maintain organized procurement records and manage office purchase requisitions
Manage vendor relationships (e.g., suppliers, caterers)
Administration & Communication
Communicate internal office policies and serve as a go-to for inquiries or conflict resolution
Support program sales by assisting walk-in clients and answering questions
Coordinate travel, appointments, and ad hoc administrative tasks
Finance Support
Maintain petty cash logs and reconcile timely
Organize receipts, vendor invoices, and documentation for monthly financial reporting
Assist with expense summaries and ensure compliance with Sinapis financial policies
Track event and rental income, support invoicing, and monitor payment status
Coordinate with the regional finance team on budgeting and expenses
Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all financial recordkeeping

Friendly and organized with 1–3 years in a similar administrative or customer-facing role
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—comfortable engaging in person and by phone

Familiarity with Kampala’s business and entrepreneurial landscape

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
1–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a coworking space or related setting
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Passion for Sinapis’ mission and belief in entrepreneurship as a tool for Kingdom impact
Strong organizational and time management skills
Comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and communication platforms
