Job Description
McDermott is seeking a Commissioning Panel Specialist to oversee and manage control room operations during the commissioning phase of the project. The role ensures that all control systems and safety protocols are correctly implemented during the transition to operational status.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute commissioning and startup activities from the control panel in accordance with project schedules.
- Monitor real-time process variables and system performance to ensure stable operations.
- Coordinate closely with field commissioning teams to verify instrument and equipment functionality.
- Identify, document, and report any system deviations or technical issues.
- Ensure all commissioning activities comply with project HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) standards.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of all commissioning progress and panel activities.
