Position Overview
Reach One Touch One Ministries (ROTOM) is seeking a qualified and compassionate Clinical Officer to provide high-quality, holistic healthcare at our Muhanga Health Center. This role involves both clinical responsibilities and contributions to health administration and community outreach.

How to Apply
1. Clinical Practice
Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide evidence-based medical treatment.
Administer pharmacological therapies and refer patients for specialized care when necessary.
Supervise and ensure proper drug dispensation; educate patients on drug usage, side effects, and adherence.
Participate in ward rounds, supporting effective patient management using current clinical practices.
Lead and conduct patient and caregiver health education to facilitate understanding and healing.
Adhere to infection prevention protocols and sterilization standards.
Uphold medical ethics, including patient confidentiality, dignity, and professionalism.
2. Health Administration
Participate in healthcare planning and budgeting when required.
Ensure accountability for medical and organizational resources allocated to your station.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and submit weekly reports to the manager.
Engage in continuous medical education (CME) sessions and offer mentorship to junior staff.
Support the management team in developing work plans, proposals, and coordinating health activities.
3. Community Health
Participate in community health outreach programs organized by ROTOM.
Provide clinical expertise and represent the health center during outreach efforts.

Essential
Bachelor of Science in Clinical Medicine with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
Valid Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) practicing license.
Proficiency in computer use and familiarity with electronic healthcare management systems.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with medical advancements.
Desirable
Strong grounding in evidence-based clinical practices and multidisciplinary care models.
Experience in geriatric care and management of frailty.
Sound clinical judgment and technical problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
Personal Attributes
Aged 22–45 years.
Demonstrates ethical conduct and maintains patient confidentiality.
Excellent teamwork, time management, and professional discipline.
Able to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders in a healthcare setting.
