Job Opportunity: Client Relations Officer (Field-Based – Science Background)

Location: Upcountry (Field-Based)
Reporting to: Business Development Manager

Position Summary:
The Client Relations Officer (CRO) will support the Sales and Business Development teams in driving business growth, client engagement, and the promotion of Cerba Lancet Uganda’s services across the country. The role involves field-based interaction with healthcare providers and other stakeholders in the medical ecosystem.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Sales & Client Engagement
Promote and sell Cerba Lancet Uganda's services to meet or exceed assigned targets.
Identify client needs, pain points, and escalate unresolved concerns for action.
Conduct client visits and organize meetings (e.g., CMEs, roundtable discussions) to build rapport and drive sales.
Educate prospective clients while supporting existing ones with product and service information.
Develop and execute a territory action plan aligned with sales objectives.
Submit weekly sales and revenue reports in line with internal reporting standards.
Marketing & Relationship Management
Promote company services using approved marketing materials.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts.
Track and address customer feedback, compliments, and complaints.
Monitor customer satisfaction throughout their service journey.
Ensure both Cerba Lancet Uganda and clients comply with service agreements (SLAs).
Attend relevant conferences, seminars, and stakeholder meetings on behalf of the company.
Contribute to marketing strategy development by providing field insights and competitor intelligence.
Business Development
Conduct outreach through cold calls and relationship-building initiatives.
Advise clients on optimizing their engagement with Cerba Lancet Uganda through policy and SLA awareness.
Facilitate seamless handovers during territory reassignment by coordinating with fellow CROs.
Maintain up-to-date business and client information databases.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry or a Science-related field
1–2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in healthcare or diagnostics
Possession of a valid Class A driving permit
Willingness to work in upcountry locations and travel frequently
