The Parliamentary Pension Scheme (PPS) was established under the Parliamentary Pensions Act, 2007 as a Contributory Hybrid Cash Balance Retirement Benefit Plan for Members of Parliament and staff of the Parliamentary Commission. The Scheme is overseen by a Board of Trustees, in accordance with the Act.


The Board of Trustees invites applications from qualified Ugandan nationals to fill the following vacant positions:

Vacancies: Senior Communications Officer

Company: Parliamentary Pension Scheme (PPS)

Grade: PPS 3

Reports to: Manager Benefits Administration

Term: Contract

Purpose:
To design and implement effective communication strategies that enhance stakeholder engagement and promote the Scheme’s brand.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, etc.

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field

  • Membership in a professional communications body

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in communications/public relations
