Cleaning & Sanitizing:
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors in assigned areas.
Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, and furniture.
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and telephones, to reduce the spread of germs.
Empty trash bins, replace liners, and properly dispose of waste, including recycling materials when necessary.
Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure they are streak-free and polished.
Wash, scrub, and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and tiles.
Restocking Supplies:
Ensure restrooms and common areas are stocked with essential supplies, such as soap, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, and paper towels.
Report supply shortages and reorder cleaning products, tools, and materials when necessary.
Deep Cleaning:
Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as shampooing carpets, polishing floors, and cleaning air vents or ceiling fans.
Handle specialized cleaning jobs, like stain removal or odor control, depending on the environment and requirements.

No formal education is typically required, though a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred in some settings.

Experience with specialized cleaning equipment or environments (e.g., healthcare facilities, industrial sites) may be an advantage.
Skills:
Attention to Detail: Ability to notice dirt, dust, and grime in hard-to-reach places and ensure spaces are thoroughly cleaned.
Time Management: Efficiently manage time to complete cleaning tasks within scheduled work hours, especially in high-traffic areas.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, bending, standing, and moving for long periods.
Knowledge of Cleaning Chemicals: Understand how to safely use and store cleaning agents, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communication Skills: Ability to report issues, ask for clarification, or communicate with coworkers and supervisors as needed.
