Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) to lead RukaPay’s growth initiatives. This role involves driving revenue, expanding market presence, managing high-value partnerships, and overseeing the performance of sales, marketing, and partnership teams. The ideal candidate will bring leadership experience, a proven growth track record, and a passion for innovation in the fintech space.

How to Apply
Lead and implement the company’s business development and growth strategy.
Oversee Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing departments.
Identify and pursue high-impact growth opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Manage key client and partner relationships.
Contribute to product development and go-to-market strategies.
Guide pricing, market entry, and competitive positioning.
Represent the company in high-level engagements with stakeholders, investors, and regulators.
Collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership to align on strategic goals.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field (MBA is a strong advantage).
Minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles within fintech, banking, or telecom sectors.
Demonstrated expertise in business strategy, sales leadership, and partnership management.
Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
Proven success in scaling revenue and building strategic alliances.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Revenue Growth: % increase in monthly/quarterly revenue
Market Expansion: Number of high-potential markets or customer segments entered
Strategic Partnerships: Number and value of partnerships closed
Client Retention Rate: % retention of enterprise or key clients
Sales Target Achievement: % of targets met across sales and BD teams
Go-to-Market Execution: Number and success of product launches or growth initiatives
Team Performance: Average KPI attainment across BD, marketing, and partnership teams
