Chemical Analyst – 3 Positions Job at WIH Cement Uganda

Job Description
WIH Cement is looking for 3 (three) Chemical Analysts to join our Quality Control team in cement & clinker manufacturing plants. The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of raw materials, clinker, and finished cement products.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct routine chemical analysis of raw materials, clinker, cement, gypsum, and additives to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform XRF, XRD, wet chemistry, and physical tests in accordance with established laboratory procedures.
- Monitor and control raw mix proportioning and kiln feed chemistry to ensure consistent clinker quality.
- Analyze production samples and promptly communicate results to production and quality teams for corrective action.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and quality control documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, internal quality systems, and safety procedures.
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Participate in troubleshooting quality-related production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of laboratory chemicals and waste.
- Support audits, inspections, and quality assurance reviews as required.
