Job Description
Job Title: Chef
Location: Jinja

Donswift Company is currently hiring a Chef to join our team in Jinja.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of main dishes, ensuring excellent taste, presentation, and quality.
Oversee kitchen operations during service and coordinate with kitchen staff for efficient workflow.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist in managing inventory, including ordering and proper storage of food supplies.
Participate in menu planning and recipe development as needed.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hotel & Institutional Catering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role in a busy or fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong understanding of food safety standards, kitchen hygiene practices, and HACCP principles.
Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
