Job Description
Twyford Impex (U) Ltd is looking for a reliable and detail-orientedCashier to manage cash and electronic payments in line with company financial controls. You will ensure accuracy, accountability, and timely reporting of all collections while safeguarding company funds.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive and process cash, cheque, and electronic payments accurately
- Issue official receipts and ensure proper documentation of all transactions
- Record daily collections in the cashbook and accounting system
- Reconcile daily cash balances, M-Pesa, bank transfers, and cheques
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly cash reports to the Finance department
- Safeguard cash and financial documents according to company policies
- Support banking activities including deposits and cheque processing
- Assist in resolving payment discrepancies and customer queries
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company procedures
- Maintain proper filing of receipts and supporting documents
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
