The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering efficient and timely solutions to clients, preventing fraudulent activity, and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.

How to Apply
Supervise and process pre-authorizations for both scheduled and emergency medical admissions within 6 hours of request, following clinical and technical guidelines.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries via phone and provide effective solutions.
Verify and audit medical claims and invoices prior to settlement to minimize fraud and abuse.
Manage and respond to service requests from healthcare providers, intermediaries, and clients.
Provide accurate information about Old Mutual’s provider network and benefits available per scheme policy.
Resolve issues related to SMART medical cards at the point of service.
Authorize all optical service requests within 6 hours and generate corresponding daily reports.
Process reimbursement requests from healthcare providers in a timely manner and maintain proper records.
Liaise with other medical schemes to assess medical risks and support the evaluation process.
Draft and issue discharge committal letters in response to provider requests.
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements including AML (Anti-Money Laundering), Sanctions, and KYC (Know Your Customer) standards.
Monitor and escalate any potential compliance, AML, or sanctions-related concerns to the Risk & Compliance Office.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing (Mandatory)
Skills & Technical Competencies:
Strong understanding of pre-authorization processes and healthcare claims management
Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Sound knowledge of healthcare provider networks and benefit structures
Familiarity with AML/KYC compliance processes
High attention to detail and ability to detect inconsistencies or fraudulent activity
Strong reporting and documentation skills
Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare systems (e.g., SMART applications)
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Behavioral Competencies:
