Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Manager – Corporate Business
Organisation: Future Options Consulting
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Will be responsible for acquiring profitable new group life and pension business and retaining existing accounts to support the company’s growth and profitability targets. The role involves developing and executing marketing strategies, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and intermediaries, and ensuring excellent service delivery for retention and growth. The incumbent will also contribute to product development, market intelligence, and performance reporting, while providing leadership to the business development team.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement business acquisition and retention strategies.
Manage client and broker relationships to ensure service quality and renewals.
Lead marketing efforts and respond to new business opportunities.
Conduct market analysis to inform strategy and product improvement.
Monitor business performance and provide regular progress reports.
Coach, mentor, and supervise team members for performance and growth.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree (minimum); Insurance or Marketing professional qualification required.
Details of experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in life insurance or related financial services
