Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Brand Experience and Social Media Associate located in Kampala. The Associate will be responsible for managing the brand’s presence across social media platforms, creating engaging content, and executing effective social media marketing strategies. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and responding to audience interactions, analyzing social media performance metrics, and collaborating with team members to enhance the overall brand experience.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Brand Experience Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of brand activations, experiential marketing campaigns, and promotional events
- Ensure consistent brand representation across all customer touchpoints (online and offline)
- Assist in developing engaging brand experiences that build emotional connection with target audiences
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to deliver seamless brand activities
- Collect customer feedback during brand activations and provide insights for improvement
- Monitor competitor brand activities and industry trends to inform brand strategy
- Support the development and distribution of branded materials and merchandise
- Represent the brand professionally during events, activations, and public engagements
Social Media Responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Manage daily social media interactions including comments, messages, and community engagement
- Support content ideation, copywriting, and basic visual direction for posts and stories
- Monitor social media performance and prepare basic analytics and performance reports
- Respond to customer inquiries and feedback in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
- Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and digital best practices
- Support influencer collaborations and user-generated content initiatives
- Assist in maintaining the brand’s online tone, voice, and visual consistency
Content & Campaign Support
- Assist in executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and physical channels
- Work with designers, photographers, videographers, and agencies to deliver content
- Capture behind-the-scenes content during events and activations
- Ensure content aligns with campaign objectives and brand guidelines
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain content calendars and activation schedules
- Track budgets, invoices, and campaign deliverables where required
- Prepare post-campaign reports including engagement, reach, and audience insights
- Support marketing and brand teams with general administrative tasks
