Branch Manager - Cocoa Producing Company Job at AfriCareers

Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate permanent and temporary staff ensuring high productivity
- Oversee the cocoa purchasing process from registered farmers ensuring compliance with certification standards
- Oversee management of cocoa processing factories for certified and conventional products
- Oversee warehouse operations ensuring proper storage, handling, and inventory management
- Work with the commercial director to increase purchase volumes and margins
- Manage field buyers and storekeeper teams to ensure honesty, compliance, quality and volumes
- Develop the branch's strategic plans aligned with company mission and long-term vision
- Identify and assess growth opportunities in the Bundibugyo region
- Build and maintain positive relationships with farmers and local stakeholders
- Develop and manage the branch budget ensuring cost-effective use of resources
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for branch operations
