Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory requirements
- Manage the preparation of annual financial statements and coordinate external audits
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and risk management systems
- Supervise accounting staff and provide leadership to the finance team
- Manage payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions
- Advise senior management on financial planning and strategic decision-making
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Liaise with banks, auditors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders
