Job Title: Boutique Assistant

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
We are looking for Boutique Assistant who is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a high-end retail environment, assisting customers with selecting merchandise, maintaining the boutique’s appearance, managing inventory, and ensuring a positive shopping experience by offering personalized style advice and knowledge about the brand’s products, all while upholding the boutique’s image and standards.

How to Apply
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and style preferences.
Provide knowledgeable product information about the boutique’s collection.
Assist customers with fitting rooms and selecting appropriate items.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
Visual Merchandising:
Maintain a visually appealing and organized sales floor.
Implement new product displays and window presentations according to brand guidelines.
Ensure merchandise is properly labeled and priced.
Replenish stock on the sales floor as needed.
Inventory Management:
Receive and check new deliveries for accuracy.
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Assist with stock rotation and markdown processes.
Monitor stock levels and identify potential reordering needs.
Operational Support:
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the boutique.
Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Support the boutique manager with various administrative tasks as needed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for fashion and a keen eye for style
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Basic computer proficiency
Retail experience preferred, particularly in a high-end boutique setting
