Mota-Engil is seeking a Biometric System Assistant to support the management, coordination, and maintenance of its biometric attendance and access control systems across all operational sites in Uganda. This role is critical to ensuring accurate timekeeping, secure site access, and data integrity throughout the organization.

How to Apply
Install, configure, and maintain biometric attendance and access control devices across all company sites.
Ensure daily synchronization of biometric data with the central server for real-time tracking and reporting.
Deploy and transport devices to designated operational locations as needed.
Monitor system functionality, perform troubleshooting, and resolve technical issues to ensure data accuracy and uptime.
Verify and reconcile biometric data and generate accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Register employees into the biometric system and ensure compliance across all departments.
Maintain a comprehensive inventory of biometric equipment; coordinate repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
Train staff on the proper use of biometric systems and provide ongoing technical support.
Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations in handling biometric information.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
1–2 years of hands-on experience managing biometric or similar attendance/access control systems.
Solid understanding of network connectivity, server integration, and basic troubleshooting.
Strong organizational and time management skills, especially for supporting multiple operational sites.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support end users.
Knowledge of data privacy laws and secure handling of biometric information is a plus.
