Role Purpose
The Baseline Survey and KAP (Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices) Specialist will lead the design and implementation of a high-quality baseline and KAP survey. The consultant will establish critical benchmarks related to migration, protection, and livelihoods, ensuring data-driven foundations for measuring the project’s progress and impact.

How to Apply
Design robust baseline and KAP survey methodologies aligned with project objectives
Develop tailored survey tools to collect relevant quantitative and qualitative data
Identify key performance indicators related to migration, livelihoods, and community protection
Ensure compliance with national and international research standards and best practices
Coordinate with key stakeholders including local communities, government bodies, NGOs, and international partners
Provide a detailed survey plan, including timelines, methodology, data collection tools, and ethical considerations
Deliver a comprehensive final report with actionable insights and recommendations
Education: Master’s or PhD in Social Sciences, Migration Studies, Development Studies, Economics, or a related field
Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience conducting baseline surveys in humanitarian or development settings
Proven expertise in:
Migration and displacement research
Livelihood and protection assessments
Mixed-methods research
Strong command of statistical and qualitative analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, R)
Experience working in fragile and conflict-affected areas, ideally including South Sudan
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
