How to Apply
Partner with directors, writers, and clients to align on project goals.
Design formats and ideas for radio, podcasts and promotional content.
Develop and tailor scripts for narration, dialogue and interviews.
Manage sessions, direct talent, and ensure quality sound.
Operate and troubleshoot recording gear and software.
Refine recordings, add effects and mix for professional output.
Create unique auditory identities using effects, music and ambient sounds.
Ensure real-time audio quality for broadcasts or events.
Craft engaging radio ads aligned with target audience and branding.
Work with various teams to streamline workflows.
Handle deadlines, budgets and schedules while collaborating with contributors.
Tailor content for target demographics, with fluency in English and Luganda.
Stay informed on audio trends and techniques for innovation.
Ensure equipment is calibrated and ready for use.
Provide input throughout production to maintain high standards.
Academic: Basic university degree in Mass Communication or any related field from a recognised institution
Professional: Diploma in Journalism or Audio Production.
Experience: At least 5 years working experience, preferably in a media house.
