Develop regulations and guidelines for rural electrification.

Design the rural electrification strategy and plan.

Review rural electrification projects and studies to determine feasibility and submit project proposals for approval.

Develop work plans and budgets for the Division.

Review and approve project designs to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Oversee the maintenance of an up-to-date database of rural electrification investments.

Undertake capacity building and performance management of staff within the Division.

Coordinate compliance with environmental and social safeguards during project design.

Prepare reports as required from time to time.

Collaborate with key stakeholders in the planning and preparation of projects.

Conduct technical monitoring of rural electrification initiatives and projects.

Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
