Job Description
Develop and update short-term and look-ahead plans for OTU work in line with the overall project schedule. Coordinate daily and weekly work fronts with site supervisors, discipline leads, and subcontractors to optimize resource allocation and activity sequencing.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Planning and Coordination: Develop and update short-term and look-ahead plans for OTU work in line with the overall project schedule. Coordinate daily and weekly work fronts with site supervisors, discipline leads, and subcontractors to optimize resource allocation and sequencing of activities.
Work Monitoring: Track and monitor daily progress of OTU activities. Monitor the status of critical equipment, long-lead items, and materials required for the OTU. Ensure tracking of engineering deliverables, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
Technical Support and Interfaces: Assist site teams in resolving technical queries and clarifying construction details. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely handovers.
Pre-commissioning and Readiness: Monitor pre-commissioning activities, punch list completion, and preparation for OTU commissioning. Verify conformity of auxiliary systems prior to handover.
Communication and Reporting: Serve as a communication bridge between SINOPEC and the project team. Translate and clarify technical requirements, documentation, and meeting outcomes to ensure mutual understanding. Prepare concise daily reports on progress, issues, and required actions. Maintain accurate records of meetings, decisions, and follow-up actions.
