Job Description
Bujagali Energy Limited (BEL), owner and operator of the 250MW hydropower plant on the River Nile in Jinja, invites applications for Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Artisan Trainees under a structured two-year training program. This program offers hands-on technical exposure in plant operations, maintenance, and civil works within a world-class power generation facility.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Participate in all company training programs.
Assist and participate in inspection and maintenance of plant mechanical/electrical equipment.
Assist in the execution of mechanical, electrical, and civil works for Bujagali Energy Limited.
Assist in design, planning, and organization of resources (labour and materials) for mechanical, electrical, and civil works.
Follow safety procedures and ensure the safety of self and team members at all times.
Assist in preparation of necessary documents prior to works, including permits to work, related safety documents, relevant procedures, and work instructions.
