Job Description
Follow up on detailed engineering activities to ensure inspection requirements are adequately considered. Provide assistance, as required, to Work Package Leaders to ensure design conformity with project specifications. Participate in preparation of various maintenance and inspection contracts, including third-party certification, required for the production phase.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and update the “Inspection Philosophy” documents.
Define the equipment integrity strategy and propose actions required to implement the inspection strategy; upon management approval, execute and follow up these actions.
Follow up detailed engineering activities to ensure inspection requirements are fully considered.
Provide assistance, as required, to Work Package Leaders to ensure design conformity with project specifications.
Participate in preparation of various maintenance and inspection contracts, including third-party certification, required for the production phase.
Prepare future inspection activities for first oil in relation to organizational readiness.
Manage and maintain relationships with certification authorities.
Develop the full inspection system for Tilenga from the project phase through to the operations phase, including RBI/FAME+, SAP systems, and inspection plans for vessels, lines, and PSVs.
Recruit and train the inspection team.
Perform baseline inspection of facilities from the pre-commissioning phase.
Contribute to inspection-related OPEX updates and prepare annual inspection and turnaround inspection budgets.
Prepare all special inspection activities in terms of procedures, equipment, and manpower.
Develop, improve, and continuously monitor inspection and integrity policies and standards to ensure quality practices in line with internal needs and external standards.
Establish inspection, repair, and certification programmes in accordance with applicable codes and regulations to ensure plant integrity.
Ensure Tilenga applies appropriate inspection methods, procedures, and equipment in line with recognized codes and standards.
Assist site inspection teams to develop inspection procedures based on international codes and standards and ensure their proper application by plant personnel.
Ensure continuous updating of computerized systems for inspection management and data acquisition (SAP/FAME+).
Ensure all company facilities, including plants and pipelines, conform at all times to company standards and approved inspection plans.
Ensure derogations are properly managed through expert review and approval from Headquarters.
Ensure implementation of mid- and long-term inspection strategies and programmes for Tilenga facilities.
