Job Description
Act as the Safety and Environment Manager for the night shift. Verify that HSE toolbox talks are completed before work begins. Monitor hazardous areas, ensure work permits are in place, and manage emergency situations. Ensure compliance with environmental requirements.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Planning and Coordination: Organize and control nighttime activities for all disciplines. Ensure continuity of work fronts defined by SINOPEC during the day and prepare the site for subsequent shifts. Verify availability of SINOPEC resources before the start of the shift.
Supervision and Control: Supervise SINOPEC and subcontractor teams during the night shift. Ensure strict adherence to HSE procedures and quality standards. Monitor work execution in line with approved plans and specifications.
HSE Responsibilities: Act as the Safety and Environment Manager for the night shift. Verify completion of HSE toolbox talks before work begins. Monitor hazardous areas, ensure work permits are in place, manage emergency situations, and ensure compliance with environmental requirements.
Interaction and Communication: Maintain open communication with the Day Shift Superintendent to ensure business continuity. Report incidents, near misses, and progress to the CSR Manager and the Industrial Area Superintendent. Prepare a detailed night shift report.
Pre-commissioning and Readiness: Verify system readiness for testing and pre-commissioning, where applicable. Ensure completion of punch lists identified during the shift.
