Job Description
As an Agent – Sales in the Sales and Distribution team, the role focuses on meeting sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and optimizing sales processes. The Agent will be responsible for converting leads into activated sales, maintaining customer relationships, and effectively communicating product features and benefits. This position will require proficiency in using CRM software, collaborating with internal teams, and working independently or within a team environment. Additionally, the Agent will focus on continuous improvement in sales performance and operational efficiency.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Sales Target Achievement
Consistently meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.
Convert leads into activated sales through outbound and inbound campaigns.
Maintain a strong conversion rate for leads and sales.
Customer Satisfaction (CSAT)
Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and delivering value.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing accurate product information.
Maintain low monthly inflight cancellation rates.
Product Knowledge and Communication
Demonstrate strong knowledge of fibre and broadband (LTE) products and services.
Communicate effectively with customers, building rapport and trust.
Operational Efficiency
Maintain up-to-date sales funnels and sales portfolios.
Manage pre-orders, leads, and "Bucket List" to avoid backlogs.
Collaborate with internal teams such as order fulfillment and marketing to optimize sales processes.
Adaptability and Collaboration
Work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
Flexibly work evenings and weekends as required to meet sales targets.
Assist in ad hoc inbound campaigns (calls, web chat, WA chat) as needed.
Continuous Improvement
Identify sales opportunities and follow up on leads from marketing campaigns, referrals, and portals.
Seek feedback to improve sales performance continuously.
Proficiency in Tools and Systems
Demonstrate proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) to manage sales activities.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education
Matric or equivalent
Fluent in English
Experience & Skills
3-5 years of sales experience (inbound and outbound)
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in ISP sales
Target-driven and self-motivated
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
Knowledge of fiber and broadband (LTE) products and services
Ability to build rapport with customers through various communication channels
