Job Title: Agency Development Executive – Mbale

Location: Mbale, Uganda
Reports to: Head of Agency Development, PAUL
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Agency Development Executive to join our team in Mbale. This individual will play a critical role in developing and mentoring sales agents to achieve performance targets in areas such as manpower growth, new business acquisition, premium income, product diversification, persistency, and leadership development within the branch.
The ideal candidate is a natural leader with strong interpersonal and coaching skills, a results-driven mindset, and a passion for building capacity and empowering others to lead.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Coaching & Mentorship
Guide and support agents to meet set targets in new business, premium income, average income, and product mix.
Drive recruitment and activation of agents (manpower growth).
Mentor agents into team leaders and support team leaders in developing into Agency Supervisors.
Provide one-on-one coaching to underperforming team leaders based on scorecard results.
Performance Management
Conduct regular weekly and monthly performance review meetings.
Foster a culture of delivering quality business and ensure strong persistency.
Grow agent earnings with a focus on producing top earners and "millionaire agents."
Market Development & Discipline
Support team leaders in identifying and opening new markets.
Uphold and enforce agency discipline and performance standards.
Promote the development of pay-points and worksite programs.
Reporting & Administration
Submit accurate weekly reports detailing performance metrics and team activities at the branch.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Proven experience in people development and team leadership.
Strong analytical and performance monitoring abilities.
Highly self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality in handling team matters.
Experience in sales or insurance agency development is an added advantage.
