Job Description

To provide direct administrative support to the Networks team, coordinate tools of trade for staff and implement office procedures. To develop and maintain an information management system for the department to ensure the smooth running of the department as a whole and ensures team is well equipped to perform their key result areas

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Raise requisitions in oracle and monitor stages of approval

  • Ensure NW Opex/Capex requisitions are prepared and executed on time.

  • Tracking all department expenditure against budget and highlight problem areas.


Monitoring and provision of all departmental amenities  

  • Routinely re-order department supplies for staff to enable them perform their key result areas.

  • Management of office equipment e.g. printers, ACs etc. to maintain a clean and enjoyable working environment.

  • Organizing and coordinating meetings for staff.

  • Follow up on staff requirements including contracts, IDs sim cards, airtime, system access, name tags, among others


NW staff engagement  

  • Co-ordinate with managers to plan leave for their direct reports. Schedule and track staff leaves.

  • Plan and execute staff engagements activities within and ensure Employee engagement scores are achieved


Special projects    

  • Support special projects to achieve defined project objectives within defined timelines.

  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
