Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Fresher NGO Jobs)

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Logistics and Procurement Coordinator, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of front office administrative functions and ensuring cleanliness across the office premises. She/he will act as the office steward, overseeing the proper use and custody of office property and supplies. The role includes performing general clerical duties, managing the office phone for official communication, and maintaining up-to-date personnel records. Additionally, the Assistant will support the logistics department in the effective management of stores. A high level of confidentiality and professionalism is essential for this role. The Assistant will also perform other related tasks as assigned.

How to Apply
As the Administrative Assistant your overall responsibilities will be (JDs Key Result Areas):
Customer care and front desk management
Admin, Asset and Stores management
Staff data management and Welfare
General Office Management
At least two years of relevant progressive experience in an administrative function within an NGO.
Customer care certificate is an added advantage.
Education/Certifications
Bachelor in Office and Information management, Stores management, Counseling, Social Work and Administration, procurement and logistics or other related disciplines from a recognized institute.
