How to Apply

  1. Office Management and Coordination

    • Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the office, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient communication among team members.

    • Handle routine correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and letters, ensuring professional and timely responses.

    • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, partners, and beneficiaries, addressing inquiries and relaying information to the appropriate team members.

  5. Support to Vulnerable Communities

    • Coordinate with program staff to ensure elderly women and children with disabilities receive timely support and assistance.

    • Maintain a welcoming and supportive environment for beneficiaries visiting the office or participating in programs.

  • Educational Background:

    • A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Social Work, or a related field from a recognized institution.

  • Work Experience:

    • At least 2 years of proven experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably in the NGO sector.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

    • Ability to maintain accurate records and manage files efficiently.

  • Communication Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.

  • Behavioral Attributes:

    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information.

    • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Empathy and passion for working with vulnerable groups, including elderly women and children with disabilities.

  • Additional Requirements:

    • Familiarity with NGO operations and an understanding of issues affecting vulnerable communities.

    • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or financial administration is an added advantage.

    • Resident or willing to relocate to Namugongo.
